The Process of Creation in the Universe and Enlightenment

The process of creation contains a vast wisdom, which is always relevant to someone seeking enlightenment, and why so many ancient sacred texts contain teachings on how creation came to be. Science is very limited in what it has been able to provide us with in terms of answers as to where we come from, how we got here, and what the purpose of our lives is. This is because science is confined to a study of physical phenomenon, as its methods and means of study are all using physical instruments that can only measure physical reality. But reality is far greater than what we can perceive with our five senses. The realm of consciousness and other dimensions all exist in the here and now, all around us, whether we choose to take the steps to explore this greater reality or not.

Even religious believers are limited in their understandings of creation, despite in some cases having access to incredible teachings on creation that were given by people who had a profound knowledge in ancient times – just as atheists who rely only on scientific discoveries are – as both are locked into beliefs that are not based on the kinds of experiences made possible by actual personal spiritual investigation, which gave rise to the great enlightened teachings on creation in the first place. Without a shared experience of these cosmic truths, a religious believer is generally only able to understand esoteric teachings on a literal level. Yet esoteric teachings are symbolic, and to understand symbols requires an understanding of what the symbols mean. Without a real and practical understanding of them, their meanings are easily confused by believers and look nonsensical to atheists.

An esotericist however, is not so limited when undertaking an exploration of life. In fact, it is possible to understand reality beyond time, physical dimension, and thought, to grasp powerful cosmic truths. The universe was created to make this possible – human beings were innately imbued with the ability to discover the truth about life and its purpose whenever they sincerely choose to do so. Not only that, but the same creative process which gave birth to the universe, is also found within us. This accounts for the many explanations of creation throughout the world in different sacred teachings having remarkable similarities once the different symbols are understood – each penetrating into an understanding of life far beyond what science is capable of.

That we arrived here from a Big Bang that happened “out of nowhere” 13.7 billion years ago through the gradual evolution of physical matter, is a vastly lacking explanation. It fails to account for that which animates physical matter, which is life itself. Without understanding the nature of life, someone doesn’t have a hope of understanding where it came from. For someone not satisfied with this explanation, this leads to looking into the spiritual source and process of creation. By understanding creation we can understand the purpose of our lives; we can also understand the process of awakening as it is a inextricable part of life. The creation of a spiritually awakened human being follows the same process of the creation of the universe.

The following article explores the process of creation as explained in great sacred teachings throughout the world, such as Egyptian, Incan and pre-Incan, Zoroastrian, esoteric Christian, ancient Hindu; how they share many similarities not only with each other, but even with the recently discovered scientific explanations; and how they reveal the process of creation of the spiritual within the human being.

Thanks so much for directing us to this new and amazing, as Layla says, article. I have started reading it and it really is quite extraordinary how everything is around us, we are part of something so immense and wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

  3. Lilia says:

    Thank you, it’s very interesting!

  4. Dara says:

Amazing article! There is so much depth to the subject that it’s really helpful to have it explained outright like this. A lot of small things that I had noticed or wondered about when reading some of the sacred texts mentioned in the article, or even things I had wondered about in ancient spiritual artwork make more sense now. There’s definitely a lot to look into and explore, thanks for sharing.

  5. Lucia says:

Beautiful article, thank you very much. Two things stand out for me after reading it for the first time – how Holy Spirit is an “ardent yearning to be”, and how God Viracocha cried when he saw the plight of the creatures he made… :-(

Thanks for this very informative article:

I read through the whole article and I have to say, to have all this information collected and then put together in a way that can really be understood today is quite a feat in and of itself! I think that article must have been the result of a big bang of it’s own :-)

But really I think it’s important and serves to further show how the spiritual path is one and the same not only for each individual who is attempting to change, but how it manifests through nature and cosmic events time and again as well.

  8. Matthew says:

Most amazing artlicle I’ve ever read! Words cannot say how profound this is; it is not just information, it reaches into your heart, with cosmic truths of something so sacred explained in way we can not just understand, but appreciate by exploring the creation all around us and within. Gives a whole new inspiring motivation so be aware and gain self knoweldge — to percieve and explore creation, understand it and ultimatly achieve its purpose in our own lives..

It is ispiring to try to fathom how the fire of creation is all around us, in everything, and really makes me want to be aware more to perceive the miracle of life everywhere.

I was also deepy touched by the description of the holy spirit as the longing to be that instigated creation, which in turn drives us to awaken from within — this something we can actually feel and explore, rather than something remote or aloof. It shows how something as abstract as creation is a actually a tangible part of our lives and intinsic to the spiritual work we are trying to do.

After reading about the hoy spirit, certain spiritual quuotes that have struck a chord with me I can understand better and the depth behind them becomes clearer:

Here are some from The Flight of the Feathered Serpent (I may not be exactly correct as I’m going from memory, so feel free to edit later)

Jesus to Judas: “We are all brothers and sons of the same Father, since his longing is ours”.

Judas to Armando: “Love is the key to everything, since it creates and maintains everything”.

There is also the part where Judas urges one to feel the “longing to be” of the great hidden lord, which is the beginning of your longing to be.

And in the book of Revelation Jesus tells the first church to remember your first love.

This article answers questions and raises many more, the effect being that inspires me to explore this work ina fresh way.

Thank you for this amazing treasure.

      @ Matthew

Looking at all this I felt the same way. Finally I have also started to be able to understand the writings of Judas in The Flight of the Feathered Serpent in the second book. Previously I only had a sense of the profundity of them, but was not able to tell what was really being referred to.

      • Jenny R says:

@Matthew & Lucia – The description of the Holy Spirit stood out to me as well, as it’s something I often ponder upon. And thanks for those quotes Matthew – always refreshing to reflect on them in a new light.

Thank you very much for this incredible article. I had no idea what I was going to find when I began reading it. But it seems, as all of the articles and special events that have been posted here, that it has come at a time which is very appropriate and important for my life personally and for this community as a whole.

To read more about the link between this the microcosmic and macrocosmic reverberating through the entire universe and within our very own selves just blows my mind how much potential we as humans have, and therein how much we waste.

Very, very inspiring. Thanks again for putting this all together.

  10. Jenny says:

Yeah I’m left almost speechless after reading this article. It helped me to understand more in depth some of these deep aspects of life that are so big and such a mystery. It has inspired a lot of wonder and investigation and has left me as well with lots of questions. The part about the holy spirit stood out and resonated with me as well as what was explained about fire ,that “When we look around, we can begin to see that all we are looking at are forms of fire.” That part really has sparked a wonder and investigation for me. Thank you so much for this article.

  11. Vadim says:

Nice article, I really appreciate all these efforts made to understand deeper these fundamental questions of life. Thank you for sharing it with us.

It is incredible to ponder how universal are cosmic principles of Creation reflected in everything. So many ancient teachings revealed them in the right time, right place, and we have them available now, yet our powerful mainstream science stumbles upon the very basics of esoteric understanding.

A great inspiration for all of us, mystical seekers, to go where science can`t, to become co-creators within parts of the Great Divine Plan and fulfill our own reasons to be alive in this interesting time.

  12. Sue says:

Very profound and inspiring article. It’s interesting to see the many similarities across the different religions and to get a deeper understanding of some of those connections. There is so much to explore here.

  13. Patricia A. says:

Trying to gain a deeper understanding of the process of creation and its connection to the purpose of life and awakening is a challenge in itself but to explain it in a simple and comprehensive manner is a different kettle of fish! Thank you for putting together this topic in a concise way. I’ve often wondered about a lot of the different ancient teachings and symbols mentioned in the article myself. This has given me some new insight to their significance.

  14. Gabrielle says:

Thanks very much for this article. I couldn’t stop reading. It really does inspire such a sense of wonder. Often when I read about topics like this, it is interesting, but it can be so over my head that I cannot relate. Whereas this article made the most extraordinary topic of existence something that I could relate to and can explore further.

The notion of fire and how everything is derived from it was something that stood out to me. It gave me a sense of how everything is connected and definitely made me want to understand more directly.

The point about the trinity and Mary Magdalene was very interesting to me, as well. In general, the similarities across religions on the esoteric aspect of creation is very telling. Thanks so much for including the quotes from different religious texts, as it helps to put things into perspective.

  15. shita says:

Thank you for yet another inspiring article:) I hope we will all perceive the deeper meaning of it.

It touches my heart and gives me inspiration, deeper understanding and a need to reflect upon a lot of things.

Thank you for this spiritual help once again.

An article that I need to study it again and again!
Thank you so much for this article, it opens new horizons in my research.

Many thanks for this spiritual message

  19. Roy S says:

It took a while to get to this article, sit down and take my time to read it. As many have stated above, I’m too blown away by its content and profound deep spiritual significance.

For me the fire within all things and the longing for the spirit stood out the most. I’m realising more and more the importance of this longing within and I feel very cold and mundane when I don’t have it with me.

Another point that stood out when reading this is the fact that enlightenment is the process of creation in reverse. Going back from where we are now to the point where we started from. It’s hard to put into words what I’m trying to say but that sentence just clicked for me.

This is an incredible message and I’m grateful that it is made available. Thank you!
